I ran it indoors as I’ve just been too busy getting my teams to get water treatment systems submitted to regulatory agencies for approval. That all being said, it’s a fun little truck so far. Handles way different from my Talion. Actually persuaded me to pull my diffs and redo the oil in them. I’m going the lazy approach though, I’m not going to strip them all apart. Here are some pictures of the 6s and my Talion and mini Kraton.

Hello all.
Looking for some advice on whether it makes sense to pick up a Kraton 6S EXB instead of a Kraton 4S. Yes, I know the question sounds a bit ridiculous on the surface — the 6S is objectively the more capable choice. My hesitation comes from what I’m actually trying to accomplish: more of a basher/monster‑truck style rig.

For context, I’ve been out of the RC world for years. I used to be a nitro guy racing Xray buggies and the D8T truggy back in the day. I’m now getting back into the hobby on the electric side. A few years ago I picked up a Talion BLX, later sold and bought a Talion EXB, and most recently grabbed the new Mini Kraton. The Mini Kraton has been great for driving around the house — my son loves watching it rip around.

I think the most relevant question, is the Talion and Kraton too similar of RCs? Which would make perhaps the 4s different. Sure I could put bigger tires on the talion, but I love ripping that truck at the track.
These responses surprise me. I bought a 6S Kraton and broke the diff. on the 1st battery. Brought it right back to the hobby shop, they gave me another one, I only ran the 2nd one on 4S and broke the diff. on the 1st battery. Brought it back, got a 4S and haven't had any problems since. Just my experience with them...

@Dgil001 I don’t know man. I hammered my talion (I know we are discussing Kraton, but similar) in the race scene and never blew up the diff. Now, I do always pull the diffs and top oils off. Did you ever check that? I have 4s and 6s batteries for all my trucks depending where I am driving. Knock on wood, every arrma I’ve run over the last 8 years has been solid unless it as a me issue. In other words I ran it 50+ mph into a pole.
