Aside from my wife in which is my absolute world, I find great pleasure in helping people out when I can
and surprising them with out of the blue gifts. It's what makes me happy.
I've even gave a total stranger a beautiful 12 string guitar so they could give it to their son for Christmas several years ago.
Health has knocked that family down and they couldn't afford a gift for there son.
I found the add on Craigslist.

I decided to put together a killer setup for my future son-in-law. I've never spoken highly of because he was a
stay at home bum. He has a decent job now and has kept it for several months.
This is equipment that is just sitting around collecting dust. I have too many so it's been awhile since I've plugged these in.

I built this guitar so he is getting the guitar, Fender Champion 2x12 amp, and a Boss ME-80 multi pedal.

LOL thanks bro, I've always had other interests as far as building guitars and popsicle stick models and what not, but
I got burnt out easy with them.

You are one awesome dude....

but I'll bet the wife already tells you that every day!

:joyful:

For some strange reason, she likes me.:D

The kids came over on his lunch hour and it was a huge hit, he loved it.
I handed him a tuner pedal first and said if you can use it then it's yours.
Then I said take the multi pedal also, he was thrilled.
After that I said well hell, you might as well take the guitar and amp also.
He just about cried.:)

A job well done. :)

Your a good man. I've been doing the same with my on laws. I started by giving my father in law a clodbuster for Christmas and he loved it. Then I gave my brother in law jake a goonies cherokee I built from a trx4. I just rebuilt my cen f450 as a plow truck for a nephew who has been a big help to my in laws. Christmas will be good as my "homemade" gift to my sheriff's sergeant is a police trx4. But I will always accept donations 😆

Nice.

It's called that Kokua. It's a Hawaiian word that means giving without expectation, or sometimes you do it because someone needs to do it. It's what community should be.
its what the world should be ..... but regardless at least your community !
