Ok, l didn't want to start this build until I could get my head in the game.
First of all, I would like to thank the many generous folks who made this build possible...you know who you are,
Thank you all for your tremendous generosity at a time I really needed it!
You guys will have to bare with me on this, being my first real build. Going to be slow and steady.
FIRST UP:
The easy part, putting the chassis together.
That's it for the easy part.
Had some parts left from bag 1&2 so I put the screws into the parts so I don't have to track them down later. I know right? I actually used the old noodle for once.
The next step is the gearbox. The initial instructions show the standard gearing but I want to use the modified gearing they tucked in the back of the instructions. This is what I will be using.
I marked up my instructions so I can remember what parts I'm using without having to flip to the back of the manual.
Next I need to get all of this assembled, but needed to take a break and post this progress while I still remember What I've done so far. But hey it's a start!
