With my daughter's college graduation +6hr away and my oldest sister coming in tomorrow night from LA, we've been super busy. I started cleaning around the house in the morning, then in the afternoon, I turned my full attention to finish putting up the garden fencing. The 2 tomato plants are outgrowing the mini greenhouse, so I needed to get them out of there. I worked into the evening, but it got done. Including a simple gate.
Next up is laying down weed cloth for the flooring the arrange the veggies accordingly. My sister's visit is going to slow my progress, but she'll only be here for 5 days. Plus, the hardest part is done.

Your doing it wrong, put her to work! 🤣

Took my knees to see the ortho Doc this morning, not much he can do at this point, a cortisone shot to give some relief from the arthritis, but next step will be a knee replacement... not quite ready to go that far yet.

You could try bringing your knephew next time. 🤔😁

Sorry about the knees. I do hear that replacements are pretty good these days and recovery isn't terrible.
I hope the shots help!

Same, my knees are shot but not quite ready to become a cyborg yet. :droid:

I am well past the point of not being ready. Hang in there.

I got 3 cortisone shots in my hip. A 4" needle all the way up to an 8". It felt great for about 3 days. Then it wore off and the damage I did being on my feet more when it felt good came back to bite me. It was twice as bad.

How long to get the results?
My follow up appointment is next Wednesday but the biopsy Dr. showed me only one golf ball size mass right next to my ribs so they only
went in about a 1 1/2". It was promising news and Xray showed no lung collapse.
The pain was a point of unbearable during the ride home, but I feel good now.

Don't wait too long on doing those replacements. The older you get, the harder the recovery get, and complications increases. Hips and knees replacements are highly successful. I hear all the time of how patients are so happy and had wished they had done it much, much sooner.
Also, over compensating to lessen pain, over time, often screws up other parts of the body.

These cows seems so lean and fit, compared to American raised cows 🤔

That's because @fstnd rides them around town. That's what he means when he says he went for a walk. 🤣
