We have a Cricut -

Basically a CNC machine for paper and such
For the big image on the back -They have a print then cut feature. You design it on the software for the Cricut. Then through that program, you print it on your injet printer on a specific paper - it's about $1 a sheet. Then you put it through the Cricut and it knows exactly how to cut it out. Then you just iron it on.
For the front, they make just an iron on vinyl. You just print it mirror image and iron it on. I accidently left the iron on too long and burnt it a little.
They make a press but I don't have one yet.
