I just came here to say you’re already making a bigger dent than I am! Didn’t realize I was slack-tagged in your post?
It’s trial and error for sure, and heavily dependent on what you’ve got to destroy for sure.. I’ve got a LOT of clover which takes a fair amount of time to cook, as it’s so dammiit DENSE… Then I’ve got some centipede that is put near indestructible lol.. Burning the grass by setting your mower literally “in da weeds” first helps a ton I’ve found.. Then I went over it with the torch. That’s a must for the centipede at a minimum.
I have since placed an order for some industrial 45% vinegar, and pump sprayer. I’ll be diluting it to about 3x the strength of typical white vinegar for household use, then adding some Dawn, and salt.
I’ll hit the entire footprint heavy with that three days in a row, and let it crust up. Once that’s done-I’ll hit the whole shebang with the torch once more to throw some heat in whatever roots survived the bloodbath..
Then I’ll grab the Ford, and drag it all. After that, and a bit of grading/some jumps, and my big 3’x10’ launch ramp, I’ll get the 4” pipe, and 12” spikes/fender washers out.
Here is said 10’ wide launch ramp… I’ll be building a mellow lander for it as well. I wanted at least ONE “Supercross” style jump.. I still need to seal it with a few coats of water sealer, but it came out exactly as I wanted. Also being 6’, and 4’; it’s fairly easily mobile.
