If You Didn't Do Anything RC Related, What Did You Do, Today?

I hate a day off from work where I get little to nothing done. Don't get me wrong, there are days off, after working 60 hours, where it is beneficial to just relax. No over time last week and yesterday was a rest day. So, I'm fully rested today, and have a to-do list of things I want to scratch off.
Unlike yesterday, today was sunny and dry. Started with a workout on the treadmill this morning. After a shower and a high caloric, chicken parm ziti lunch, I attacked the leaves on the lawn. With about an acre of lawn, and steady, stiff wind, the chore took extra time. Once the leaf blower was put away, I packed away a number of outside things in preparation for winter.
Next up, was a thorough cleaning of the Impreza's interior and all the glass. Not a fan of car interior cleaning, but I do love the dust free, shiny results! Ok, clean lawn, clean car.....what's next?
My younger daughter has been complaining about how dark and creepy her parking space by the shed abutting the woods is after dark. So, I installed a solar, motion sensored led light system on the shed. It got delivered from Amazon while I was cleaning the car. Her space should now have plenty of lighting at night. Last chore of the day was cleaning the pellet stove.
Very satisfied with this productive day, so now it's time for dinner and football!

Mow the lawn, trash duty, clean the driveway, work on anything mechanical, etc.

Stored away all our firewood for the summer. I think this is the first time we've had firewood leftover at the end of the season.

Also made a job list for me to get done while I've got time off. No rest for me.

Mrs. X has an elderly aunt who is rather obese and losing strength in her legs and balance.
Last week, I had to get her off her garage floor because she went down stepping into her garage that has about a 4" step down.
I came up with a plan to decrease the height of the step down. I found 24"x24"×1" concrete pavers at Home Depot, and figured they would be perfect! Went over this afternoon and put my plan into action.
Picked up 4 of these pavers. Laid down 2 pavers next against each other up against the foundation over the garage entryway. Then stacked the other 2 pavers on top of the first 2. This allowed a 24"x48"×2" landing in front of the entryway. It allowed her to come down with her walker with only about a 2" drop.
I figured these pavers would stay in place due to their heavy weight, but I picked up a tube of construction adhesive just in case. I was right, the adhesive wasn't necessary, and the set-up worked perfectly with her walker. Much, much safer for her to get in and out of her garage, now.
