I used to do em at my grandparents with huge open fields when I was a kid. Too wooded at our place to get into the cool ones

My dad was into them (rockets) with us. I built one out of a paper towel tube. Dropped a C size engine in I think? Been a long time. But anyway, it was a curved paper cone and cardboard fins, and it flew straight as an arrow. Every time.

Went to visit my Granddaughter this morning.
Mowed the yard this evening.

Did that as well, jumped on the tractor when I got home from work and got a head start on the weekend project.

Lots of mowing and clean up to do. And go get birds tested and papers for show. Our rc’s are probably safe this weekend

And throw some brass on the range, rifle season is about to start back up
