Wow, that is a big battery. I would charge it as hig a rate as you can or it will take forever to charge it up.

Looking at the Brain's specs--max is 4.5 amps. It may be enough...

I believe that is a gel cell right? If so, the 960 isn't able to charge it. You may have to buy a wall charger for it or upgrade.

Either "will work" as long as the voltage output of the charger matches that of the battery.

Amps are not the issue voltage is when it comes to charging. Lower amps mean a longer charge cycle but with better performance from the battery. Higher amps mean quicker charge rates but the batter charge may not last as long or battery life may not last as long with a higher amp charger.

I use a car charger on a 2amp trickle.
That battery is equal to a 10 cell battery pack. (1.2v X 10)
I dont think either charger is rated for 10 cells.
