I will keep that in mind. For a good charger, I'd suggest the Hota D6 pro or the Hota S6, both are great chargers and will be better to have in the long run vs the imax b6.
Just check the dimensions of battery and battery tray and you're in business.Opinion on these batteries? They have a balance lead, which I was looking for, and EC5 connectors, which the Outcast has.
I'm definitely going to run it at 50% throttle for a while, because my previous car was 1/18 scale, and it clocked 25mph after I gave it a brushless motor and metal spur and pinion gears. I should have upgraded the diffs as well, but oh well...Just check the dimensions of battery and battery tray and you're in business.![]()

Keep 'em nice and tight in the tray... let 'er rip!
CNHL is usually my go-to first place I look nowadays. I currently own/run primarily Zeee and CNHL 2S,4S, & 6S LiPo batteries... I have no complaints. I only have 2S packs from CNHL that I run in my SCTs... they take on the most abuse out of any platform that I have. For that reason, and I'm in the market for a new 3S pack... I'll be looking at CNHL for my next LiPo purchase. Of course, SMC is in the running as well. I've always wanted to try their cells, but every time I've gone to place an order they were out of stock, or didn't have the hardcase I wanted.Opinion on these batteries? Wdym? Like, size-wise or lectrikity wise? This is perfect!

What I don't get is that soft case LiPos are sometimes bigger than hard case LiPos, but a lower mAh. The 5200 mAh soft case is too long, but a 6200 hard case one is just fine.Like what he said!you'll need to verify your battery tray size to make sure that these batteries will fit.
5200 seems resonable too.
If they fit, they should do well for you.![]()
Yeah, and with how clumsy I am, that'll help me not break it...Hard case is ok too.![]()
The hard case might actually be helpful if you're really good at crashing!Yeah, and with how clumsy I am, that'll help me not break it...
I have a good (or bad?) feeling I will be until I get used to 4S!The hard case might actually be helpful if you're really good at crashing!![]()
I'd grab a couple varieties of batteries. Grab some 3s, and 4s. I would most definitely go with CNHL for lipos, and a Hota D6 Pro for the charger. For 3s, I would personally choose the 6000 mah, and the 4s 5600 mah.I have a good (or bad?) feeling I will be until I get used to 4S!
The 5600 4S doesn't fit, but the 6200 hard case Purple series does. I think I'm going to start with just 2 4S batteries, and as I run it more I may encounter the need to get a faster charger and more batteries. Good news is, my local hobby store opens at 12 on weekdays, and I get off work at 11, so I'll have time to go home to shower and eat food.I'd grab a couple varieties of batteries. I don't get where your getting where they won't fit, as the dimensions of the 4s 5600 mah are 139mm (length), 46.6mm (width), and 47mm (height), while the battery tray dimensions of the outcast 4s v2 are 156mm (length), 51mm (width), and 48mm (height). I got that straight from arrma's website, as well as CNHL's website. The 5600 4S doesn't fit, but the 6200 hard case Purple series does.
