Today my uncle gave me an unused OS Max 25LA (airplane?) engine, along with a lot of props. It was a part of an unfinished science experiment.

The thing is, I'm fairly new to nitro (just got a Savage), but I mostly like onroad, or at least surface vehicles. I have no real use for this engine, but sort of want to make one.

Any ideas? I do not really feel like buying an airplane kit along with all the electronics, since I already have ground setups. I was thinking of a swamp boat, since there is a lake behind my house, and also beaches surounding me. Is this a feisable idea? Any thing else I could do with this engine short of boxing it up and storing it? I do not really feel like selling it, because he may need it again next year.

Now that I think about it, swamp boat seems kind of... weak. If anything, I would have made the chassis out of acrylic or polycarbonate. Clear bottom.

But now, hovercraft sounds like a sweet idea. Too bad the skirt will probably be a pain to make... Probably would need to find some other power source too, if the engine I have now is to blow the air cushion.
