Heck our lake is so warm it's not even really refreshing anymore! You go from dripping lake water to sweat in a matter of minutes!
iv been in some swimming pools like that. didn't know it was possible to sweat standing in neck deep water.

We went to a 4th of July party, a few years ago, and discovered that this couple heat their pool in the 90's, all summer long 😮

wtf why? that's like jacuzzi territory. my aunt and uncles pool always seemed to be about 80. i remember being in it one time and it was 85ish. the kicker, the temp outside was only about 80. felt better getting out than it did jumping in.

Apparently, they like their water really, really warm. I gotta say though, once the sun goes down, it actually felt pretty good.

The smoke from wild fires in Canada turned the morning sky a very eerie yellow color yesterday morning. I thought I had somehow woke up on mars. It was so overcast with smoke at midmorning it felt like dusk. There was an air quality alert notification on the weather forecast which is also in effect today. On the other hand, the high temperatures are back down to normal...

We were like that all day yesterday. The only good thing was, it seemed to have kept the temp much lower than it would have been if it was clear.
Around 8pm last night, I noticed that the yellow haziness had dissipated. Also, noticed it was fairly windy. I'm guessing a shifted, strong wind system probably pushed the smoke either north or east, out to sea.
No haziness, as of this morning. I'm betting @CreepyQuarryCrawler had finally put out his firepit.
