Pollen sucks, sometimes we come out and our widshield is nothing but yellow dust.

From May-Jun, everything here is covered in a film of yellow dust. Mrs. X and I aren't really affected by pollen, but our kids are.

Oh my geez yes it's been horrible. I couldn't even see out the windshield when I went to the post office about an hour ago. I pulled out the driveway & punched it & a sheet literally flew over my car- I could see it bellow off the back spoiler- not kidding

Yesterday I was miserable. Both eyes watering shut, running nose- No- pouring nose- like a faucet. I took 4xs the Zyrtec yesterday than I should have. Reckon pollen-it affects fish gills?

When I lived in Kentucky the Goldenrod would kill me, my eyes would swell shut.

I used to ride a motorcycle. Some rides would return, bike, me, bags, helmet, passenger... COVERED in yellow!

I rode Harleys for 25+ years. Ever been hit in the chest with a carpenter bee? Ouch- have to pull over. Or a red wasp fly inside your open face helmet & sting you on your ear? Yep- pull over

Yea, them too! I rode 72 Sportster, 74 Superglide FXE, 88 FXR, 2003 Ultra, 2012 Slim. The windshield is awesome! We called the Glides- Road Sofas

I don't think I'd ride today. If I did, a rubber mount wide glide bagger for sure! The electras are nice but just a LOT of bike. Maybe not the full lazy-boy package for me just yet...

I rode a 5 gear evo FXR a few times. A supertrap, S&S, and a Crane single fire... That bike was FAST!!!
My bike, even with a built engine had no top end. 2nd to 3rd pulled the front end right off the ground tho!
It was heavy and low. Impractical but cool as HE77!!!

The storm that Reed Timmer predicted that will be developing will be forming over Kansas and Oklahoma tonight around 8pm tonight, and will be moving in an easterly direction. Supposed to hit here tomorrow afternoon or so.

The National Weather Services Storm Prediction Center has this as the area to be concerned about.

But if you zoom out, you see the area we all need to be really concerned with

Storms they chased last night are going to dissipate before they hit here, but tomorrow, new ones form over Illinois, and these are the ones they are most concerned with.

So last night's storm wasn't the one they were even predicting to hit my area. It's this one that is just forming over Illinois. Reed Timmer and them were talking about it last night as if it's going to be the storm to watch, along with another hitting mid-week.

All the storm folks on YT are watching the part of the storm that's heading right for me. It's pretty scary. I already told Breydon where to go if chit hits the fan. I just know I don't want to be in my apartment if it hits. There's a cinder block structure behind dollar general, where their dumpster is. I think that's the only safe place I could get to, and that's likely a 10 minute walk for me with my cane on rough terrain.
