40° in the dot, still raining and windy. I'm pretty wet and feel awesome. 😍🫠🙃

Ok, well the MSN weather app said -2, but that's a bit off! My, and all of my coworkers saw -11 on their car thermometers coming in to work today. And the Weather Channel said 9 degrees??? C'mon, why even bother putting numbers out there if it's just lies? Is it just "adjusted for our models" BS or some crap? Good lord, they're gonna get people killed with that.

I can say, in all of my life, I have never experienced a temperature like this. Even with my thickest, warmest winter clothes, it was no defense! I walked maybe 200 ft, and by the time I got to the entrance, I was in agony.

I had to walk to my mailbox twice with a -14° wind chill. It was actually quite painful. When I was a kid I used to play outside in 0° weather, with wind chills lower than that.

I remember though, it was the layers thing that worked. Thermal long johns, t-shirt, flannel, sweat shirt and a coat, blue jeans with a pair of sweats over them, two pairs of socks and insulated boots. That took me about an hour to put it all on, but we would sled all day in really cold weather. All the padding helped with the huge jump and hard landing at the bottom of the hill though 😅

It sucks. It was about 4deg this morning. I haven't had to go out since in quarantined, but the wife still has to go run the store. I live in the south for a reason, I hate the cold. I couldn't be more ready for spring to get here.

30s? That's nothing 🫠

Well it is something but it isn't nothing.
From someone who was spending 10 or so hours a day in 100-115° is a difference. In this weather I'm usually sweating when I work. In the summer I get cold and cold chills. Maybe i should move next door to @Warby 🤣

I'm sad that we didn't get a 2hr delay today... 🙃🤦

50 next Tuesday! False spring here we come!

Man, if it really hits 50 I'm taking the day off and testing Fangdango. I have my doubts tho! Then again you guys are usually about 10 degrees warmer than where I am.

Frost Saturday mornin. Getting a crawler ready. Frozen mud bath here we come. Hopefully. 🤣

And I thought orange juice prices were through the roof already! Just wait. Soon we'll be growing oranges here in Indiana, and you guys will be growing corn. Or we won't be able to grow either anymore and buying it all from China. We already buy most of our apple products from over there. A lot of apple juice concentrates are from China.

I wanna say more of than not is fake. Looks and smells nothing like this. I've also witnessed alot of orange groves become houses. In 2004 canker spread basically killed the oranges.

Just saw a video on the weather channel saying winter is basically over and temps will be above average from here through March for the entire US except the exreme northwest 😁

Here's hoping they are right. My furnace needs a break!
