Hi fellas
Just found a part H11396 which is actually for the SC. Did anyone was trying to put this in TT2.0? Will it fit?
I really like this part way more then existing on TT

I'm 99.9% sure the SC 2.0's 11396 composite/aluminum steering block set has same geometry as the TT 2.0's optional OP1-0077 aluminum/carbon fiber steering block set.

Also, if you look at optional parts for the SC 2.0, you should notice the OP1-0077 listed...

Even better with dirt on it! 😜
I absolutely hate the first run on a new build, especially an off-road RC. Trying to keep things nice. Easy on the throttle for the first pack or two, getting the feel of things... that's me. Squeezing the trigger just a bit more with each lap until the inevitable bad landing on the wing happens. After that first scar/scrape/gash I can relax and enjoy testing limits.:thumbs-up:

Hello Man!
Just no2 things

1 - i just found a way how to adjust caster (happy to share if you need)
2 - How do you find this rig on a track (esp on stock springs) dont you feel like you want to buy a skid plate? as my one always wants to scratch the ground on a landing with the front (i notice this on a asphalt due to the metal noise)

@White_Crow_G, are you talking about the spacer on the upper inner hinge pin? That's the only way I know of adjusting the caster angle, and in doing so it will only be a degree or two.

I only got about six runs on the TT. My backyard track is very rough/bumpy. The very first 10 seconds of maiden voyage, I though the truck was a bit underdamped. I mean, the specs say 600cSt are in the shocks from the factory. I've never used that thick of shock oil in any 1/10 scale RC before. I really don't want to go out and buy thicker oil. 550cSt is thickest I've got for one of my RCs... then I jump to a 1000cSt shock oil for monster truggy.

If I could just a bit more pack from a set of TT's pistons, that would awesome! I'm not sure what pistons are in the shocks as I skipped that part of the breakdown. Hopefully, Hobao included the 4 hole 1.2mm hole pistons in the Hyper TT 2.0 and would mean the 2 hole 1.2mm pistons should get things closer to my liking.

As far as the springs go, I think they are about perfect. If they were any harder/stiffer, I would not be able to get ride height low enough. If there was a set of skid plates, for the Hyper platform I'd probably buy a set. I don't get too concerned about chassis scratches/gouges.

@White_Crow_G, have you, by chance, opened the shocks up and noticed which pistons are inside?
Hi Rusty. Sorry for late reply.Yes i did open it for a maintenance and 95% sure there was 4 holes pistons...but i dont remember )
i'm pretty sure of there was more or less holes - i would notice this.
After 23th of jul i will be doing diffs and springs so more likely will re-fill shocks so i can tell you exactly the number of holes.

regarding jumps....
i understand that chassis is a part which should be replaced from time to time but... i dont really like the way how the FF hinge plate (or whatever you call thus part H11360) is absorbing so much of impact (i will take a pic and update this post in the evening.) even on a relatively small ramp
i did even re-adjust shocks position on arms and tower, but still it so easy to touch the ground just by applying a little bit of force (idk, pbl less then 50-100 gramms of force)

Maybe grab some 1/8" Kydex to make skid plate.

Stock Tires

If a person wants to know why I love to run the biggest knobby hardest compound tires I can find...

For a second, I thought I was in the clear until I took a closer look. After a handful of runs I noticed the pins disappearing from the tires.:p

I was so close 🤏 to ordering a supply of Hobao's tires even though I couldn't find them unglued. Back to the drawing board.
