Hey guys I wanted to know what a good price for a used Kyosho FW-05R with a brand new Sirio .12 motor, XXL Rec., 1100 Mah rec. pack, and high torque airtronics servos would be....thanks in advance...

a guy is selling one at my local shop for 350 and I made an offer of 300 and I was hoping you guys might have some insight as to whether or not the price is any good.

for $300, i dont know that seems kinda high? i dont think i ever even heard of that car, but i may be wrong, maybe you should be looking for another car! what are you into? :\

sry did not see you own about 8 cars:trashed: i dont know, but if you want it, get it

well the car as a kit (no engine, servos, pipe, and manifold) runs $379.99 on towerhobbies.com. I looked at the car again today and the car will need two new clutchbells as it appears that a rock or something along those lines got in there and messed things up pretty good. The cra I mentioned has a brand new mill and everything that can be upgraded is. Also the guy who built the car is a pro driver and I have one of his other race cars which I have not had any problems with what so ever.

Just my 2 cents on the topic... I would say yes it is a good deal.
I purchased the foam tire kit with engine for $500 from Japan directly. I still haven't completed the build due to not having extra servos, reciever or batteries. (This is/will be my first on-road car and I purchased it because of what I read on other forums.)

If you check out a few other forums you will see a post FW-05r in the On-Road threads. I have yet to read a post of anyone complaining about purchasing this car.

The biggest catch is going to be purchasing spare parts...
Hope this helps...
