Hi! Welcome to RCTALK.COM!!! 😁 :thumbs-up:

I was hoping we could get some more info about your RC.

Is it the Ultima Rampage ST?

What engine is currently in the truck?

What are you trying to accomplish with your build?
Are you racing or back yard bashing? On road speed runs?

You do not want a Kyosho motor, correct?

Why? What do you expect a different company might offer?

Budget is another factor to consider.

If you have enough money, you can bolt a Ferrari engine to your RC! 🤣

Or a picture?
Every engine I've ever used uses 4 screws to bolt the engine to the engine mount.
Hi,

I'm looking to replace the engine in my Kyosho stadium truck. Are there any non Kyosho engines that will fit.
The current one, is secured with 3 screws.

Many Thanks

Some Kyosho engines incorporated the mount into the crankcase so it screws directly into the chassis plate, like at the bottom here:

This could limit your options to a pretty narrow range of out-of-production engines... The GS-11 or -15, GX-15, and GXR-15 or -18... maybe something ever rarer that I missed. they're all going to be rare and expensive at this point, but can be found on ebay, sometimes still brand new.

If your chassis also has a "square" of mounting holes right under the engine, it's probably able to take just about any small block by using mounts that bolt to the side-lugs present on most engines.

What part's would I need to fit an engine using the four mount points? Is there a generic bracket?

Regards
