So its the pinch thats locking up the engine?

Does heating up the head help get full rotation?
the engine is good it's the starter box it's only has a single motor and i have other starter boxes with dual motors.
i'm changing the engine anyway i got another one.

i got these engines and only the back plates have been removed for a closer look and some of the speed engines are built new so i need to take the heads of all of them and check...i'm sure the novarossi is built new as well because the compression is high.
i'll use the 30's for MT's.
The engine with the least compression will be used.

A Italian moron designed this head button with a o-ring.
I guess Italians don't know that copper and aluminum are used as head button gaskets.

edit..the orange o-ring has to be picked out with a pin to remove the head-button...what a pos.

I'll be using this O.S speed engine it has the least compression of all the engines the world champion.
With the head button off it has lost the pinch at TDC but still has really good compression with the button on...this engine is at it's prime.
The crank looks clean as well.
I got a near new O.S speed .12TZ to build as well that should rip in a 1/10 car.
