Getting ready for a big race happening the 30th. At RC Underground "The Tron Games" trophy race. 3 quals, 1 main with 1 allowed bump. Racing starting at 10:30 and estimated (by me) ending around 5 or so. Not sure who can take me but ill drag my uncle down, just because (to annoy him 🤪) Not sure if we can stay all day and make all the races tho :| (And we will see if I wake up that early, lol)

Will be running the B74 in the 4wd Buggy class, will be running Mini B, I am bringing the slash, but will run it if they do it, as not many people have SCTs (I only counted 3)

Since last time I raced was a month 1/2 ago, I'm going down on the Monday before to get some practice in, because if I don't ill be rusty.

Tonight, I prepped the cars. Setting ride height, and doing alignment.
Back a month ago, I rebuilt shocks and diffs. With the buggy running 10k/500k/30k in the diffs (F/C/R) and 50wt/35wt in the shocks (F/R) (Red springs out front) In the slash, Last time I was running a thin oil in the shocks, and it was hard to turn so i went up to 50wt/40wt (F/R)

Before racing, I do need to order new batteries, which I am going with CNHL for budget ones, and I found that I bent the front CVA bone on the buggy, so need a replacement for that.

Should be some fun racing. Big race so hopefully to expect some new people, or people we haven't seen in a long time.

Went down for some practice today. Ran 2 batteries per car. Was down for a little over 3 hours.
New CNHL batteries work good in the Bug. Since the positive and negative are switched around, my bullets are less tight (like less tugging on the wire)
New diff set-up worked good.
Mini B drove good ,that took a beating today.
Slash also drove well, surprised it didn't break.
So I am all ready to go for the race and/or the winter season. 😁

Also tested out my new phone head strap so I will post a video on that soon.

I have cnhl’s too. Mine you can flip either side up and it reverses the posts. The balance port is only on one side though. Which ones are you running?
I'm running the 5200 120C HV shorties. For me the balance lead is on both sides. As my.old Maclan ones were only on one.

Today was the race. Couldn't go as we had some family stuff come up. And wasn't a big one. They only had 11 drivers. On a Saturday, still in the season, so most people who run 1/8 was outdoors. But all my cars are ready for the winter season (maybe about 5 or so races hopefully for me?)

Yesterday since I thought I was going, I fixed my rx/to issue I had, and hopefully it is fixed, and might be a little more better this time due to the selectable servo speed (4ms to 3ms feels the best for now) ( https://www.rctalk.com/forum/thread...te-direction-on-what-i-turn-the-wheel.139584/ )
Fixed the wing on the buggy, since I didn't have wing buttons I used spare traxxas shock pistons. Hey they work!
Cleaned up all the cars overall.

Might be going to a small local car show tomorrow so I'll take the shocks off the slash and put them in the Rusty, and take that out.
