Getting her ready for her inaugural race

Well after a bump (ESC blowing up), she got some new custom works rc springs and a little added weight where it was needed to get her all gussied up for her first dance at the racetrack. Just waiting for my shock oil to come in along with my ESC programming card and it's away we go.

I know it won't be pretty for long, but as Dale use to say "rubbing is racing". Can't wait to see how it handles as I've been doing little things to get it to how I like it. I will try to get pics of the races when I head over on the 15th

I totally understand this but it sure would be great if all the little tweaks you've been making paid off on the podium!
The smile on your face while you're running is its own reward for sure!

No worries about that! Even having a day it comes back in pieces is worth it as I get to enjoy rebuilding it.

The first run was a success!. Had to knock some rust and cobwebs down but overall took home 3rd place. I had to swap rear tires as the stock tires didn't have enough grip. Apparently my old carpet track memory was intact as I went for some pink compound due to the track surface. It was a blast and my kids loved it.
