Extreme Newbie question

Oh it's ok. You don't have to make another one. I used to build N scale models myself, so I'm just interested in realistic details. This is some stuff I did years ago...

The fence in this is cardstock, printed with a picket fence image. Lost of thin cuts and gluing paper strips for the fence posts and cross boards.

Was looking at those pics again man is that stuff small, don't think I have the eyes anymore for that small stuff.

Ran the little C10 for a bit yesterday at work, pretty fun, looking forward to the upgrades I have coming for it. Different shocks, steering servo, steering linkage, little bigger motor, a couple of.extra batteries, beadlocks and different tires. Hopefully the shocks will take a bit of the bouncy jittery movements out of it. May add a little grease to the inside of the shocks.

Brought the Defender today, It had warmed up to 40 something the other day and the snow settled so it has a pretty hard crust on it. Pretty much supports the weight, fun when it starts sinking in, a challenge to get out. Same principles apply as full size rigs, too much throttle and you bury it.

Made a couple little portable obstacles to mess around inside the house, have some ideas for some things to build as well, looking forward to some warmer temps to.try the little one outside. My brother just got his new wheels and tires, I ordered the same ones.

Those are my brothers, they are nice trays good and solid. He was concentrating pretty hard in that pic, nice thing is if it drops off the rails it just falls inside between the two and not to the floor.

Those SCX24s are a lot tougher than you would think! That short drop onto carpet, wouldn't so much as leave a scratch.

Put some beadlocks and tires on the C10. And skid plates on the Defender.

Decided to make some plates for my rigs, took a pic of the old personalized plates from my pickup, should've peeled the tags off, I'm going to be driving my crawlers around with expired plates!
