@CJSRCLIFE

seems like for the TLR towers if I want to use them I need to get some other parts as the TLR tuned towers, well in the front at least uses a adjustable pill system so if I were to go that route I would have to get new hinge pins, pills/inserts for the front towers, and a new front upper arm block also.

Jennys rc:
Towers: 32 bucks
Steering bellcrank/crack 25T (includes upper arm block): 19 bucks

Amain:
pills/inserts: 12 bucks
hinge pins: 6 bucks

Could get all of it on jennys rc but most parts in the TLR tuned plastics pack with side guards esc mounts and what not I dont need. Not sure if its cheaper to do amain or jennys but.

69 bucks jennys/amain
81 bucks if getting everything off of jennys rc (with included other plastics in that kit it comes in)
Compared to the stock aluminum towers, those are 8 bucks on Jennys and I don't need anything else. But horizon doesn't state the aluminum grade on those ones.
Thats just for getting/fixing my suspension.
Electronics is a separate issue right now. Lol.
I think the stock ones are just 6061 stamped aluminum way lower grade but cheaper to produce which is why they use them in the base model. But yeah the TLR ones have additional adjustability pills in them since it. Do what you want to do if you don't care about the adjustability you can go M2C.

I dont have M2C money so... TLR is my only option here.

Confirmed that my electronics issue on the Typhon is the esc. Tested with my 3660 HW SCT motor and same thing. Tested the spektrum 2050 motor on my 10bl120 esc and worked just fine. Got a spare esc but need to redo the battery wiring on it and after I do that I'll triple layer up the tape and should be ready to go minus suspension.

Considering maybe buying a 8BL150 G2/WP at the current moment just so I can throw it in bc I was going to hobbywing anyways after I had an issue with spektrum so. 🤷. Just need along some 10awg wire with it, 5mm male bullets or ec5 plugs, and 6.5mm to 4mm motor adapters so I can run the spektrum 2050 and should be even better. So I can actually tune it.

First Practice day of the carpet season is in the books of the Factory's open house today. Glad to be back finally. Pretty packed but fun day for sure. Mainly offroad here for me but for both and all offroad and oval guys. Nearly 70 drivers from what I calculated, for ones who do have a transponder and checked into liverc. Probably around sub ~90 people including spectators and families. 2 lucky winners of 2wd 21.5 buggies for the 21.5 class here at the Factory. (1 built Xray, 1 built Yokomo) Also some new lighting upgrades for the whole offroad track/pit area, let there be light! Always like running here, because it is a smaller track, which is less speed which is a con for me, but super fun since it is a tight layout with some narly setups. Plus, office carpet, generally less traction per say, but theres like 0 carpet dust/strings compared to CRC.

B74: Absolutely dialed. With the new ProMotion Vipers, and the new sway bar change, (1.7/1.8 f/r), limited body roll and seems alot more planted now. Could have used a touch of more front ride height and some steering D/R but besides that its locked in.

22: Dialed for the most part. Actually ran it back to back for like 3 practice sessions, as today we did do timed practice sessions of 5 mins each to rotate people better as theres alot of action here today. Although for my last session was cut short, the left front hub/axle, the hub insert came out of the actual hub, probably bc the wheel hex was rubbing on the insert, wearing down the insert, so I'm gonna see if I can fix it, if not, new hubs/insert time and will most definitely find a spacer that I can use with these axles to push out the hex

Mini B: Absolutely hooked up with new rear pin tires. Ran for 2 full battery packs/2 sessions. Last session I dialed it back to 60% on the throttle and was pretty consistent, running with some buggies and trucks.

Rustler/race truck project: Dialed suspension wise. Didn't even have to experiment with my extra set of shocks or any different oil/preload settings. Although I feel like it lacks power, when getting on power so could be a wiring or speedo issue. Next time ill have one of my buddies drive it to see if they notice it, if not, It's just me going crazy. Lol. Went out with it for like 4 or so sessions as most of my day was with the 2 buggies. Rear tires started to come unglued so just packed that up for the day after.

Noticed that my older/spare transponder, that is a 2 wire AMB one does not work here with their firmware on their decoder, swapped my mylaps ponder in and out of each car, just converted everything to using Velcro for it instead of using double sided tape or using the mount for it. And I'm surprised on how the Velcro is holding up for it and super easy to transfer in/out so there's and upgrade right there!

Lap times, small, tight track, was rolling around with hot laps of 11-12s all day, even hit a 11 flat which was pretty good! Oh yea, and MAJOR layout change here, step downs after the wall/banked turn, represented/copied per say, by the florda carpet champs at beachline. Super cool. Figured that with the buggies, go low on the steps so you stay consistent. With the trucks or something more high powered initially, you can go higher on the steps since they can handle it, almost like gliding or just completely jumping over them honestly. Super cool. Hopefully they keep that track feature there for the next race day I'm there. Will be interesting and super fun.
