Can't wait for our "summer" time here in the desert. Once the morning temps start holding in the 60's and 70s', the go-fasts get their turn!

Not gonna offer that up for @majin ?🤣

What is that?
That's our Nomad DB-8, and it's one of our "favored" machines in the go-fast world. We picked this machine up right at the time AE discontinued the product. It's such an awesome machine that we spent the following year tracking down every spare part possible, even going as far as buying two more "refurbished" models from AE as parts donors. As we later discovered, it's a surprisingly robust buggy, so we have a cache of spare parts to cover us for the next few decades. #moneypit.

No, this one never finds it way to the chopping block. Too sentimental, and quite frankly we have too much money tied up in the Nomad to do the 50 cents on the dollar loss.

I just found one, my DB48 needs a refresh...... I was thinking of trying the lasernut cage and body, just about the same price used. Or I could get creative and TIG a cage together.
Nice Nomad, I can't see why that platform was discontinued.

Yes, the Nomad, SC10.3, and T4.3 got the short end of the stick. They were what... only out for a year? If AE's parts manufacture didn't go bankrupt, we would most likely still have RC8 and "4 series" parts flying around like these bats...

Nice ride indeed.
