How do you mount a 4mm thick Basher Bodies on a Tekno MT48? My body mounts barely poke through. I see pictures of them on the forums so I know it's possible. If you know the trick please chime in.

The problem is the distance between the body perch/flat thing the body rests on and the hole the pin goes through isn't far enough apart. The body is too thick. I see lots of pictures of MT48s with Basher Bodies on them so I know it's possible.

Maybe drill a new hole in the mounting post or egg the existing one out..
You could possibly even drill the hole 90° across the existing as long as it doesn’t interfere with the body.

I think people are not using the adjustable/pivoting perches on the Arrma Body Post Big Rock, AR320357, Black body mounts.

On my outcast, I modified some RPM ones to use and lowered where they mount on the towers. Allows the longer RPM posts to flex more vs breaking them or the mounts.
I'm not sure why, but I haven't had as much issue with the ones on my kraton... pretty sure they are the stock ones:
I run probodyrc bodies where are thicker than stock by quite a bit.
These are what I used on the outcast. I cut them where they start being round and drilled new holes for the body pins and mounting in the mounts. I also put body mount washers on them and screwed them to the smaller "pad" that the RPM posts had so there was more for the body to rest on.
Body mounts are one of those things you can get creative with to deal with an issue.

I don't know about being good. 4mm thick body is a lot to accommodate. I am just going on by what others have done and I didn't see perches used as I pop in and out of threads/groups/forums. I know even the Arrma body posts get demolished by those thick Basherbodies bodies.
