There was one of those old ford cosworth rally-ish things at my local used car dealer. It looked pretty awesome, but I forgot to take pictures. Here's a picture off the internets of about what it looked like:

It had some louvers in the back window, and it was pretty sweet. The only problem was that it was a pale yellow color that was not nice to look at. Still, I would have bought it in a heartbeat if I had the money.
Fun Fact: The Ford Cosworth was the most highly stolen car in their era in the UK.

looks like a Sierra, you might have been looking at the US import version the Merkur

Yeah it looks like you're right. Sorry I'm not much of car person, I just thought it looked cool
They look cool for sure but our emissions regs and depowered, insurance company approved drivetrains really let this car be a lot less than it could have been.
It had TRX(?) tires which came on this, the 4banger turbo moustangs and some volvos I think. Rare and expensive.

XR4Ti were a little spaceship looking I think. 🤷‍♀️😎👍

Yup, TRX. Odd metric 365mm diameter. No other tires in that size. Hard as bricks and felt like it. If they started howling in a curve you were running 11/10ths! My car was a T-bird turbo coupe that I sold before they needed replacement!

Umm...

Well the first thing that pops up is Ariel North America, they may be a British brand, but they have a factory in the US.

Also they use a Honda I4. Interesting. An Atom V8 would be really cool.

(Edit) Yes British brand with a US factory.
there is one with a V8 and and it will tear your face off as much as the "regular" one does

the V8 is basically a deathtrap with how light it is

We are all gonna die one day. The question is, when you go, will you be smiling?
