Figured i would just give this little project its own thread.

This is a mini crawler course that I'm building out of cans, super glued to a 4'x10" piece of wood. Once the base is finished ill be going over it with paper mache and then painting.

The original plan was to do this entirely out of beer cans over the course of one weekend, but I hit it pretty hard Friday night and was not up to continue on Saturday 😅 4' is long

Friday night progress before I ran out of beer

On saturday I added to the course with some seltzer waters that I had drank throughout the day. Didn't make much progress, the seltzers filled me up quick and were pretty hard to slam consistently. Did finish a rogue tin so just glued it to the board also lol

We'll see what Sunday has in store..

Paper mache is done. 2 layers of mache made from water and flour. Then I painted over everything with a water/flour/texture mix to add some grip. Ill give this a day or two to dry and then start painting. I think this is going to be more durable than I had expected. Some of the flour has tried to my hands and arms and its rock hard.
