Looking good! I also browse Etsy for scale accessories, seen some cool ones there. I'll look for dollhouse miniatures too and down way to repurpose.
I'm in the process of making dollhouse window panes into a solar panel for my rig. 😊

I like the look without the squiggly lightning bolt of down syndrome. 🤷‍♂️ 😂
Ill tell ya what it needs. Some dang Ole fighter jet style shark teeth!

The sticker pack came with the straight lines for the side panels, but i suck at lining those things up

The 2" one might fit pretty good 😁😉

Took about a 1 mile trail walk for lunch. It did pretty good other than in the super fluffy snow patches. Also, the esc/rc isnt a fan of snow. Had to chase it down a hill when the Tx lost connection at full throttle 😅 a power cycle fixed it.

Tried to mount the esc/rx in the waterproof box that came with it last night, but unfortunately the combo is too big.

I would slap a fusion se in that bugger. The stock reedy motor was weak and the esc was jumpy even with motor wires reversed.
Great truck!

Like I said in the intro, I am by far an artist. But I watched a couple model painting videos on YouTube for some pointers.

Picked up an acrylic paint set and some brushes from the LHS.

First the videos recommended a black base layer

Then a medium layer of Grey dry brushing

And then a light layer of white dry brushing

This helps to make the contours have some characteristic, rather than just a flat color.

All was easy up until now. I experimented with a mixture of paint thinning, color mixing, and dry brushing. For a first attempt at model painting, I'm pretty happy. I'd really like to perfect my paint thinning so that I could really get those base layers to shine through and make the contours pop. And I'm pretty sure drying some paint off of the brush a bit before applying any paint is essential to keep from having too thick of a layer. Definitely a great learning experience.

Don't mind the uneven eyes, these hands are far from steady and a little shakey 😅i think it just add to the intoxicated trail driver look 🤣

After this, I think I may just try my hand at some Warhammer model painting! Pretty fun little project. Would like to come back stronger on the next head. Would love advice and tips from any of our other model painters.
