The parts prices are kind of crazy.
Is it just this truck or are Recat parts expensive in general?

Hopefully the new shafts last a bit longer! 🤞
Not sure. A redcat was the first rc i bought, and this is my second one lol

Bummer about the part. Redcat will hopefully get you sorted. Too bad it wasn't a drive pin or something simple. I lost a drive pin on my daughters 1/18 Scout II. Replaced it with a toothpick 🤣. Still running great!

Their black Friday sale makes me want the 1/18 version of your little truck.

Redcat came through and are shipping me a whole axle shaft kit!

Originally I went into the LHS wanting to pick up the ascent 18 with the BF sale but this was what they had so I got it anyway.

It was super fun for the short time I got to run it 😅 looking forward to getting it back up

That's awesome! I've had good experience with Redcat customer service. You'll be back to crawling in no time

Fedex is the only one that hasn't cost me money on an ebay sale yet lol
They are the only company that I absolutely refuse to use if I can help it. I have a christmas present I ordered. It has been sitting at the terminal here in town for over a week, and there is nothing I can do to get ahold of FedEx except talk to their AI go F yourself bot that gives you the runaround before hanging up on you. Replacement order shipped, and has been stuck in Champaign Illinois for 2 days now. I am wondering if Best Buy uses FedEx because they end up selling more stuff because FedEx gets to pay for the lost shipments.

Which has me wondering... how much money could you make just shipping empty boxes around the country through FedEx if you had $100 on each package, because they lose stuff more often than they deliver 🤔😉

Phone bot? Did you try screaming 'speak with a representative' at it?

Well that sucks and is quite disappointing. :(
Yeah man, hopefully i just got a dud. I know you love yours, and they have pretty good reviews online.

I honestly dont even know what threads these are so I guess I'll bother tech support again. Thinking this might just be a shelfer 😅

It does seem a lot more fragile than their 1/18 stuff. 🤔 wonder if they bit off more than they could chew with this one.
Cheap Chinese hardware in that scale is going to strip like it's made out of dried cheese whiz. Stainless in that scale is about as strong as peanut butter. The Chinese really need to get away from the idea that stainless is better for RC cars.
