Looks like the hobby shops don't have common sense.common sense
Did Max Amps step up their game??
Thats their parallel Graphine series no prep pack. If you take a look at the whole testing spreadsheet, you'll see the regular Max Amps pack was garbage.Did Max Amps step up their game??![]()
Thank god someone else finally said it. I'm yet to get one that wasn't faulty out of the box. It's all my hobby shop keeps a variety of stock in and I've bought probably 10 of them. ALL OF THEM voltage drop under even a minor load.Just stay away from those “common sense rc” batteries the hobby shops sell. They’re trash!
Not a bad charger. Comes in just behind the Hota D6 Pro though because the Imars D300 has a fairly average balance current of 1.2A where the Hota has a 1.6A balance current. And the D6 Pro has the same features plus wireless charging. It is I believe Gens' attempt at competing with the Hota, but they fell a tad short.I like my gensacearespammers Imars D300. Easy to use menu, solid build quality, decent wattage in the power supply, etc.
Plus, you can use it as a fully adjustable external power supply.
I've heard nothing but good things about the Hota. If I didn't already own an Imars, I would buy a Hota in a heartbeat. I'm just giving some more solid options to OP based on my experiences. Not a bad charger. Understandable. Considering the Hota is a tad cheaper kinda makes it a no-brainer since the Hota has a better balance current, that will finish charging a battery faster. Just want to make sure the op knows what the differences are.I've heard nothing but good things about the Hota. If I didn't already own an Imars, I would buy a Hota in a heartbeat. When I first published the bulk of my LiPo testing result 2–3 years ago, Those batteries rank almost at the very bottom of the spreadsheet, so this wasn't the first time someone said it.Thank god someone else finally said it.
