Hello All,
Newbie here but I do go back to the 80s with RC cars.
I've been doing some reading and asking about which car to buy and have decided on an Arrma Typhon 223s. I would buy an associated MT10 but they seem to be like Hens teeth right now but I do intend to buy one when I can. My use car is racing around the yard with my son (He has a Losi MiniT 2.0 Brushed - it's slow but plenty of car for a 2yo).
The research I have done points me towards 3shard case batteries with a high capacity and a high C rating. I am liking the Zeee batteries, I am thinking about buying a Zeee 3S Lipo Battery 5500mAh 11.1V 120C Hard Case RC Battery with EC5 Connector twin pack for about $67. The Arrma uses an ic5 connecter and the the MT10 uses a Deans connector, my intention is to desolder the deans connector off the MT10 and replace it with ic5 (maybe ec5) so I can share batteries between both cars without using adapters.
The one thing I am not sure on is chargers. I have looked at this thread ->
and the Hota Ht6 Pro looks like the obvious choice.
Keeping in view the batteries and cars that I want, are the zee batteries and is the HT6 pro a good choice please?

Hota's D6 & H6 Pro chargers
It seems like every couple of years I upgrade my chargers for whatever reasons. Most of the time it's because of wanting more power or a feature on the new generation of chargers out there. I didn't want to go all out, and spend the money on the iCharger that I have been eyeballing for years.
My past chargers were somewhat slow when it came to that constant voltage part of a balance charge when cells are aging at different rates. It would take, what seemed like, forever to balance charge some LiPo packs. That's when I started researching what makes the...
