Quick question! Does anyone know if there is a shorter 17MM hex that would work on the Arrma Typhon 3s/223S? I want you use a different 17MM wheel nut and it will not fit on the stock 17MM hex.

Yeah, I don't know what to say other than what Greywolf74 mentioned. I ran into the same thing with a set of capped 17mm wheel nuts my Team Associated eBuggy. I just threw the fancy nuts in a box and didn't look back.

Is your rim fully seated in the hex? I run these on my 6s Typhon and Mojave.
Pretty looking wheel nuts, I thought of getting 24mm wheel nuts for my X-Maxx like JPRC had on his old red one. Also thought of doing the 17mm hex conversion to my future T-Maxx someday after i get it so i have more options for wheels and tires.
