Happy new year:

🥂🥳🎉 Tires, tires, tires. Getting the right tires for the track... your long/short (?) upgrade journey to racing Short Course Trucks will be cut significantly. The Arrma Fury has gone through some changes over the years. Which Fury are we talking about that has been tagged for the challenge? Is there even any aftermarket parts for your ride? I'm guessing the kind of racing you'll be doing is more of the easy going, casual type of gathering, right? I'm not saying it's impossible to hang with dedicated race bred Short Course Trucks, but I believe the Fury was not designed for a person looking to adjust shock angles, roll centers, steering, caster, and all the other tidbits to their driving style.

Please don't let my comments bring your racing desires to a halt. I love rootin' for underdogs. With an appropriate ESC/motor for the class you'll be racing in; a radio with a few bells and whistles to control the faster/stronger servo you'll be getting... anything is possible.:thumbs-up:

Happy new year to you as well! I also own the fury. The newest version to be specific. Mine is the brushed model. So far I have been tuning, and retuning trying to get the most out of the relatively stock everything that matters. I've gotten it running a local carpet track pretty good at this point.
Do you have any specific rules for the race that rule out certain upgrades?
