New Arrma Infraction 223s BLX release this morning!

Hi everyone, How's it going? This morning Arrma just publicly launched the Arrma Infraction 223s BLX and i'm excited for it since i love the platform although i already have a Vendetta but i predict if they later release a Vendetta 223s BLX i might sell off my old V3 Vendetta to get the new one or i might convert my old Vendetta to have a similar setup to this new Infraction. I also forgot to mention it has the same style of Hoons as my Vendetta currently has there a belted tire and it has the Spektrum SLT3 radio with DSC with an all new SLR370 3 Channel SLT DSC Receiver. If i get one of these or a Vendetta like this i'll definitely bind it up to my iXSR+.

That's red tho, not orange. But to be fair the color of orange paint can show up red in some photos

Yeah, I believe it's red\silver\blue so it's kind of like the American flag although if i were to get one i'd probably get the teal\black\hot pink one i know i'm weird. Although i'm holding out for the possibility of a Vendetta 223s BLX V4 maybe later this year. Also i still have to keep saving up for my X-Maxx Ultimate.

Vipaz tires last forever. Solid rubber. And West Oz just came out with Vipaz tires for the 3s Infraction. M2C will carry them or Eastern RC.

Barely updated over the last generation and actually has a worse remote/RX setup and lower KV motor. Only upgrades are the tires, ESC update, overload coupling (fancy slipper smh) and the metal diff internals. I’ll stick with my Vendetta.


Although, if they made an updated Vendetta I’d like it a lot more lol

Yeah, I know the price is a little high but for me it's not super bad and i've actually been really curious about the SLT DSC system and it can be bound up to any of the newer Spektrum radios like my DX6C (with the DXC+ firmware update) and my iXSR+ which will most likely be getting bound to my iXSR+ when i get mine. Since i think i've settled on getting the 223s Infraction or if release a Vendetta with the V4 223s updates and selling my original one since my original one has been kind of a battle since i first put it together from a slider and to make all of the 223s updates and some repairs it would cost almost the same. But everyone's opinion or view will be different.

IMO, it’s cool, but pretty much just an older model with some very minimal upgrades, basically the ones that were needed to make it reliable, but not better. I also dislike the SLT remotes quite a bit. I get that you have an IXSR, but imo I’d keep it bound up to your superiorly built Vendetta

Yeah you got a point there, I just don't know what would do since i could rebuild my current one to V4 223s spec but keep the old radio and motor since mine's already got the newer S662 servo that's in the new one. The only real problems i've had with mine is the diffs being too tight and binding and the esc started to overheat so who knows maybe i can update mine to somewhat match the new one and also be better like full metal diffs and maybe a 4s outcast esc.

The lower KV motor is a bigger can than before. It's a 3660. More torque, less heat. Better transfer of power with the new slipper 'diff' & more traction. The gear ratio is different & it's got 4s ready F&R diffs. Someone has already done it with a 120a ESC, 4s, 80mph. At least it's not a 2n1 ESC. It's a great RC. I like the red white blue.

Gear ratio: meh, changes with every pinion not a huge deal imo.
