HoBao Racing HB-10SCE 1/10 Hyper 10 SC-e Short Course Truck Almost Ready to Run

https://nitrohobbies.com/hb-10sce/

I have one of those in the garage. Bought it as a "used" slider with about every hop-up Hobao made for almost nothing. The truck was almost new, and I only ever ran about half of one battery thru it. I really ought to sell it...

I never ran it because before I could get my motor/ESC from the slow boat shipping co, I found my Tekno I talked about above. Tekno became the project SCT, and the Hobao just sat in the garage. :( Everything I read about it says they are pretty good cars, reasonably durable, and decent racers. I will say it looks good, very light, and the shocks seem nice. But I have not run it enough to make an opinion.

Not 100%, maybe 98%, the Dominus chassis is slightly longer than the Maurader if my memory serves me correctly, the motor mount is different and the suspension pins and mounts are different, the Maurader just uses screw in style like the Traxxas Slash where as the Dominus uses actual pins with e clips and has aluminum mounts.
Not going to argue :) but I stripped down my Maruder to fix up a Dominus Truggy . And it all fitted in the same place so??? I dunno if you say that’s the case then who am I to argue . May be I’m a bodger :):):):)

I was wrong about the chassis, but the motor mount and suspension pins are still different but they will still work I never said they wouldn't fit.

Either way some parts are impossible to get in the US like the chassis, the center driveshaft and the top plate I found the chassis and top plate but I'm not paying 3/4 the cost of a new car for them.

To sum it all up, the only vehicle i said i wont consider is Traxxas. Arrma i am leary of because of my experiences with a V1 Granite and Senton, but, if they had fixed some of the issues i had, then i would consider it, although, one issue i have, with binding diffs, doesn't seem to have been fixed as of yet. I have a very strict budget of $300,

Hi Bigman,
Racing experience and want bashing? Interesting. Well, maybe a basic used Senton with a center brace would be ok...? (I saw a BLX local ad at 200$US)

We run on outside carpet track during summer and we still have the same power line/chassis since 2018.
And why not a used Max 10...? I put that on the Slash 2WD this winter for inside local dirt races I am still impressed by this set up...

but will be 350$... :)
