Xtra speed 1/10 scale trailer

I bought this XtraSpeed trailer. I would say it’s a kit. You have to assemble it. I am going to weather it I think. Needs rust and wood boards . Very nice kit. It comes with leaf spring suspension and bead lock wheels. It even has a light kit with a battery built into the tool box.

I'm very interested in seeing what you do with it. The fenders and hitch were enough to chase me away from alot of amazon and ebay trailers. I do like how its a kit, unlike alot of other trailers.

For the wood boards, me personally, Id use scale bolts and locknuts right through the mesh material.

Rpp hobby has hooks, chains, and even bolt down floor hooks.

Wheels look super scale with the bolts in from the back it look like lug nuts rather than socket head a or screws.

This came out to good.

I only sprayed the underside because trailers are always rusted underneath.

First I sprayed flat clear then dusted with salt then brown and tan paint and some more salt. Waited then painted everything flat black.
I sprayed the front of the fenders brown then dusted them with salt. Then black over all. That way it looks like road chips on the face of the fenders.

After it dried I washed everything in hot water. It looks and feels like it just came out of a lake on a magnet.

Thanks is was so easy. Looks like an old trailer that sitting out back someplace
