Question time:
The MT10 I have on the way has the Castle Copperhead 3800 KV brushless motor/esc combo. Should I use 3S or 4S LiPo’s?

And which LiPo brands do you recommend? My MT10 has an IC5 connector set.
Owning 2 or 3 copperheads it can only do 4s on certain motors I believe.

On my sidewinder 3800 on 3s my stampede will back flip upwards if 50mph.

I seen the copperhead series used in SCTs at the track and they fly so thats why they offer them in a high kv. 3s should be fine. But if for 4s id go <3000kv.

Probably because I posted right after you replied initially 🤪
Yeah-just wouldn’t have been my choice is all. Not even close to it lol.. Likely a great combo for 3s though.

This just reminds me what a maniac I am-whenever I do my MT410, it’s getting a Tekin 2250, and RX8 on 4s LiHV…🤷🏻‍♂️😜

Cool so when buying LiPo’s I should just make sure it says EC5 (or IC5) compatible?
Yep. If it just shows EC5 you're fine. 99% of them are blue. Just like any EC2, EC3, EC5, etc are. If you see a yellow EC5 connector, it's just anti spark. I have both & can't tell any difference. Blue is sufficient.

Ok so 3s it is. Are IC5 connector’s on LiPo’s common/easy to come by?
I'd go either EC5 or XT90. But make sure if you are buying connectors to buy Amass brand. The cheap Chinese ones melt too easy.

Do some LiPo’s come with EC5 connectors already installed? So that it’s plug and play?

How about the PowerHobby 5200 11.1v 100c?
The listing should say the connector. Yes they are already on. Plug n play. IMO Powerhobby batteries would be mediocre & fair. Not bad. Ovonic makes really good batteries. I've had great results with Zeee. I have a NHX Muscle Pak that's been really good.

You need a 4s EC5 lipo?

Also , I see a title next to my name on here that changes every so often. It’s talkaholic now. Does it go my number of posts? Does anyone have a chart that shows them all?
It changes after so many posts, yes. No idea what the requirements are for each level. But you are a supporting member. You can edit your own title. Just go into your account details page to setup your custom title.

I need a 3s EC5 LiPo. Also , does the HOTA D6 Pro charger come with EC5 connectors? Or do I need an adapter?

It comes with XT60... you'll need an adapter.
