Ok, so you are getting a stock set of tires with this truck?
I ask because those tires look really nice! And the nubs on those tire are going to last 8.3 seconds give or take .0001 seconds imo.
Maybe someone knows THESE tires are good on pavement but my experience shows me a knobby tire is doomed on the street!
You're gonna want another set for street use.

I’m having proline mashers put on the truck. I will get the stock ones as back up. But the mashers will be coming on the truck.

Yeah, I think he said those are sticky whick MIGHT mean they are softer compound. This isn't bad but they wear fast on hard surfaces is all.
Initially I thought they were like the original Monster Beetle tire.
They would be bald fast too!
Your Mashers will prob be fine. Honestly, you're going to drive tje tires off of it, whatever you get. 🤣

I’m not overly concerned with wearing the tread down. Like you said , I’ll be blowing through all kinds of tires since I plan on driving it often. I’m sure I’ll get some street-type tires at some point.

BTW , I loved the Monster Beetle back in the day. The Lunch Box too.

You won't be sad when it happens then! 🤣 Like you said, you'll figute out what tread types work best for where you run and you'll have 8 sets soon! 🤩
I'm actually excited for you to get your truck right now! 🤣🤣🤣

I never owner either Monster Beetle or the Lunchbox. Both were SO COOL!
I have a couple Blackfoot. Blackfeet??? 🤣
They are in a box, 1 apart. Blackfoot was the same chassis as the MB so almost as cool! 😎🤣
I assure you, your truck is a VERY different truck! 🤣🤣🤣

Was the Lunch Box from Tamiya? And I remember Futaba had a 1/10 buggy called the FX10. It was pretty cool looking.

I had a Boomerang, Blackfoot, & a Monster Beetle back in the day. All Tamiya RCs. Still have a Boomerang. The Lunchbox was a Tamiya also. My friend had one. Fun RCs!

The good old days. My pal’s dad had a tan RC jeep in the early 80’s and I think it was called The Cheetah. It was pretty sick.

Is Team Associated owned by a larger company?

Thunder Tiger. Reedy is also a a company under the Team Associated umbrella. And Element.

Really. So they just wanna buy as many RC companies as possible?
They like to buy up companies that produce good products, then discontinue those products and produce crappier products to replace them. Horizon is like Ray Zalinsky from the movie Tommy Boy. Buying up companies for their name.

Look on their website & you can see all the stuff they carry. They do carry brands they don't own as well. Like Redcat. But I think they have Blade & Proboat, too, I think.
Actually, I thought I heard Horizon owns Redcat now? I could be mistaken.

Nope. I was mistaken.
