With an $800 budget , what would you get?

Tower usually gets my Tekno business because their 15% - 20% off coupons can be applied to that brand.

I got 20% off and free shipping on every kit I bought from them. Nobody else came close at the time.

What I did too, but now I don't see the coupons listed anymore. Maybe we have to actually join? Didn't use to be that way back a few years ago.

Tower/HH has bigger discounts on paper. Amain changes theirs around from month to month to suit THEIR needs, and is horrible about sharing their “special” discounts across the board via advertising, or email.. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t.. You’ve gotta know someone, or just plain get lucky.. And being a “Platinum Member” doesn’t get it either.. BeachRC has THE BEST customer service, the FASTEST shipping out their door, sends free shiit constantly, and candy. ALSO no sale tax applied.. AbsoluteHobbyz has killer pricing AND great discounts, and they aren’t all coy about it.. Fierce has KILLER monthly coupon codes, free shipping if you spend enough, better discounts than advertised (15% off everything *except kits & electronics* but then throws me a bone at 13% off my kits when they hit my cart ), and no sales tax applied at checkout is HUGE to me… That’s bigger than most folks monthly coupon code on top of what they knock off for me to begin with.. You can also use their codes as many times as you want-AbsoluteHobbyz too; unlike amain…

So I honestly feel like they all get pretty close to one another, but I sleep best NOT using HH, or Tower ever again.. I seriously cannot remember ever ordering from them, and NOT having a problem at some point between paying, and receiving my stuff.. Or not receiving it.. Even if they were able to give me a comparable discount, they are far from worth the hassle to me personally.. I’m sure not everyone shares in that experience, but I do know a lot who have..

I'm small fry, so no one extending me discounts for 10 here, 100 there. I shop by price, whoever has it cheapest. If the service sucks, I don't go back.

What ya mean? He offers all Tekno models, what else is there? HaHa!
Joking of course, but Tekno does check almost all the boxes. 1/10 buggy, truggy, MT, SCT, and of course 1/8 buggy/truggy in both nitro and electric. Can even make a badazz 1/8 from the ET if ya wanted. Well rounded and truly high quality, high performance. Why don't I own more of them?

I should mention that although it was not a popular choice , I went with the upgraded version. I know it’s expensive but I’m fine with it. All those upgrades just sounded so appealing. And I’m sure I’ll have plenty of wrench time regardless.
