I practiced grip taping the grip tape on the old broken transmitter shell. Feels a lot nicer that’s for sure.

I have thought about doing this on a couple of my TX's :thumbs-up: was also thinking about trimming some neoprene to shape and glueing it down, so far I haven't tried either.

I just used hockey stick tape of all things lol and followed this video. I feel like bare plastic is too slippery for me.

Prepping a 2050 motor for installation.

A soon-to-be owner of my RC airplane club gifted me two engines and carburetors😎
I unseized them and made a test bench, but I'm waiting for a multi engine stand.
OS Max 25FSR and Webra 61 with a pretty rare slide carb

Extremely long and stressful day. I got the motor mounted and the esc soldered and the sensor wire installed only to find out later that the battery wires were too short. So I had it re-soldered and got the 4mm and 5mm bullet connectors with bigger pull tabs for my fat fingers. I also installed the ballast brass weights on the left side. I also put a decorative circular decal on the T plate I think it looks simple but nice. Now I gotta carefully wipe the chassis down with a microfiber to remove my sweaty fingerprints because it was a little scary and stressful to have it soldered. Front end will go back on the car next, I’m waiting for different lower A arms.

But if you wipe off the sweaty fingerprints, what is dust going to stick to? 🤔 I like the blue circle! :thumbs-up:

Also sorry another post but I felt like setting the gear mesh. I went straight down the middle on pinion selection. I set the mesh by sandwiching a piece of a sticky note, but not the sticky part.

Organized the top pouch of my rc hauler. I thought about adding scissors but I figured I could just use the xacto knife for cutting pieces of servo tape and such.

Mostly self inflicted 😅
Aren't they all? None of mine have ever broken sitting on the shelf... :hehe:

I was considering if I wanted to try an MT8, since they are still priced so low (only $10 more than the MT10 atm)

Steering kinda sucked out the box. It needs the upgraded aluminum locking nut for the servo saver. We’ve broke arms and hub carriers and bent some links, but it’s hard a few hard crashes 😅. Ours came with an extra set of upgraded arms (kaiju arms I believe) and a spare set of upper links.

For the price they are now it’s not a bad deal. I got ours for 299 damaged box special 😅
