Got the last two of my Teaxxas 1/10 4x4s setup on the Flysky GT5.

Setup my 2wd (Stampede, Raptor) models on a GT3B, probably going to use that for my DR10 as well.

Painted up a new body. Admittedly, I'm not very creative and lack any and all artistic skill. What I envision in my head, never comes to fruition. Impatience? Lack of skill? All of the above? Who knows.

Pearl white Tamiya paint, some die cut vinyl graphics strategically placed and that's the extent of my artistic ability. I think it will look fine, it already looks better than the super busy bright red screen printed body that came on it (I hate red). My favorite looking RC that I had from years ago was a Team Associated SC10 with the Lucas oil body. I'm hoping to emulate that look to a degree... Decals aren't here yet, they're coming from England, so it may be a while until I get to see the final product.

Nuthin’ wrong with the White Rider!! That looks killer imo sir!! Some of my favorite whips were a plain Jane, white body!

Well after my recent head injury, I remembered I had some die cut decals I bought for a VW bug body that didn’t fit another car.

Herby Baja?? I’m digging it, if I end up not liking it, I can pull the decals off and throw something else on. Kind of the perks of going all white.

Fitted the grille this morning, need to complete the lacquer finish later today.

did a few tire swaps, realized i had 3 megalithics and one rupture on the Ol Man, so i swapped em out for all megalithics, then i realized a few werent facing the proper orientation so had to flip 2 and swapped some wheel weights around. just messed with 3 sets of tires for a few hours getting them nice and correct, inserts facing right direction ( 3d printed so i guess it matters?) then i put them on the shelf waiting for dry weather and put some weights on the set of Trenchers so the weight was back on the right set on the right truck,
i have 3 sets of the same rims... my dumbbutt didnt get them in different colors. smh anyways 3 sets are 3x as heavy as the other sets so i got all that lined out so the right wheels are with the right rims, ready to rock
then i swapped out a broken servo for another apparently broken servo lol good times

o i also burnt up an esc trying to hook up a home made winch.. got the white smoke, but it WORKED!!! for a minute... then the smoke came out.
but that was a side project lol
NEXT time i think it will work

last night was working on the 2wd bug trying to mod the front axles to use normal / wider offset wheels. That driver side axle bearing was seized on. Tried wd40 and nothing. Vise grips. Eventually came off with using a flat head driver and hammer and hammer that thing off. But when using vise grips, it slipped off the bearing and i cut my finger. Turned into a blister today. Oof. Once USPS gets their mind together ill install n solder up new motors, spur/pads, some wheels and tires too.

Not my car, but I helped! De-anodized all the flashy ugly blue on my buddies Rovan XLT-450. We got all the parts done now he’s just reassembling, I think it’s gonna look a lot better. I’ll be sure to grab a picture when it’s completed.

Haven’t done the shocks yet. Don’t have the right shock fluid to refill them. He may leave them blue, he hasn’t decided yet.

Drain cleaner with Lye. Soak them in a container and after about 5-10 minutes the anodizing melts rights off. Takes some baby sitting. The cast aluminum fuel cap is ruined, it didn’t like the drain cleaner at all. The CNC parts didn’t have an adverse reaction though.

It goes without saying… do it outside or in a very well ventilated area. It puts out a ton of fumes.
