I'll get some pics soon when it's completely set up. Built aluminum case diffs & set them up in Treal 6s aluminum bulkheads for my Talion build. Testing side shims in them. These bulkheads are machined nice! WIP
Got it. Mugen internal diff shims. Very smooth. One side shim in the bulkhead on the ring gear side. Ram Jam 4140 input & Ram Jam 4140 outdrives. Gear lash is perfect.

I sent my motor for my SK out to the motor tuning/dyno guy and got it back today. Hopefully the numbers look good. I highly recommend Mr. Nick Bell if you ever need a Spec race motor :thumbs-up:

what do they do to tune? how much is it?

Replaced the Infraction 6s centre diff composite case with the Arrma metal case. Shimmed and added 500,000cst diff fluid. I had ordered 200,000 to use but as I was attempting to pour the very viscous fluid, I realised it was actually 2million cst. They sent me the wrong one. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I was also going to fit the Scorched Parts outdrive shaft/cup upgrade but I was unaware that it's not compatible with the handbrake. The brake rotor doesn't fit over the cup. I could probably modify the rotor to fit but I'll just leave them for another project.

still trying to figure out why my front end is slipping and producing an awful noise. I've ruled out the motor, it spins silently under power. I just don't know what to look for...there was a good bit of grim and dirt inside the axle housing, but not sure it could make the noise it was making...

Have you isolated the axles and rotated each side individually to see if you could chase it down that way?
Grit in your gearbox could certainly make a racket! Is it just in the housing or did it reach gears?
Have you removed and tested bearings for smooth, crud free rotation?
Just a couple ideas! 👍🏻
