Most boys would. Especially when that nitro motor roars to life. 😁 I had a bit of a hummer fetish in my younger days before bikes and diesel motors came about and found this one on the bay a few months back.

do you do that with sharpie?

@Lukedavis
I sharpie notes of things like color or body options or mods, decals, or paint masks that need cut. Sometimes I even put what led color goes where or high beam locations.

I do use a black detail marker for little accents like window trim.

do you think it would look good on a short course truck body shell?
I'm failing to connect. Are you talking about the sharpie? The inside is painted and the marker is on the outside on the protective film. When paint is done, the film comes off to expose the clean paint job it was protecting.

I have in the past, painted a stampede body pink and sharpied onto of the outside paint. I may have a pic of it jumping off the dock somewhere.

If your asking about the H2 body on a short course truck, it's long discontinued and is for a tiny 1/10 touring car.
Love that color!
I do too. Unfortunately I messed it up. I accept the dark swirls and the part that pulled off the roof due to me pulling the tape early. I might carbon fiber the roof or add a xxx main decal in carbon fiber. I may wrap the whole body. To early as I'm still doing the black parts and haven't pulled the protective film off yet.

Wrenched on my X8s. Put on some new shock springs from VG-racing in cal.
And a set of shock covers to protect the shock shaft and bottom seal from macs-costume-design on ebay also sprayed the covers with some WP to help. The fit nice

Long time no see. How's it going? How's the X holding up and how do you like it?

ohhhh my bad. did you draw the sharpie on top of the protective film? i was asking if it would look good on a sct body because I took the protective film off of the bodyshell and I was just wondering if it would look cool if it was permanently on the body.

You can outline body details with a Sharpie, but it will eventually rub off. You could try dusting a clear coat over it.

My nephew has two Revo 3.3 and he wrecks them often.
His mind struggles a little bit so I am helping him.
He broke the carb, smashed some cooling fins on the engine, smashed the exhaust manifold and cut a wire to a servo.

How did that happen?!?!?

I use a sharpie all the time to outline windows.

Today I spent the morning figuring out the gearing for a new truck class that starts next season. They wanted to use 21-26 pinion gears but the 26 was so slow it would not be fun. So I did a bunch of testing and I think 26-30 tooth pinions will be better as long as the motor does not over heat.we will see. But it involved charging batteries and changing gears till my neck was sore.

I wouldn't exactly call it wrenching but I have been charging the batteries and flushing the antifreeze out of the camper.
Tis the season and 80s weather in a couple days.

Over here in Maryland it was in the 80s a few weeks ago. Then back into the 70s. Now back into the 50s and 60s. And thats why my allergies are going crazy.
I'm sure glad I don't have to deal with allergies.

Did a bunch of yardwork last night and it set my allergies off big time. :wtf:

Supposed to hit 99F Saturday and then be back to the 70's mid week. šŸ¤”
