I've had the van about a year now. It needs some attention as it was one of the older Hobby Plus releases. Needs some upgrades but looks cool. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Here's where I started last night - figured I'd offset your super-sanitary R/C operating room to make the rest of us feel better. No, I didn't get any Nitro Hawk parts mixed up with the Mugen. LOL!!

My Gawd this thing's a big sucker compared to The 'Hawk. Twice as heavy, too.
 
glued the tires to the wheels. filled the shocks. mounted the receiver. routed the wiring. gave it a quick half ass steering trim adjustment. gave it a quick half ass slipper clutch adjustment. gave it a quick drop test suspension adjustment. the "generic stadium truck" is a battery strap away from finished. going to cut that on the CNC at work so ill get to it when i get to it.
only thing I'm not liking is the turning radius sucks. i don't remember that being an issue on these 25 years ago. and i need to dial in the brakes cause it doesn't stop for crap.

Installed a elevator in the foamy glider I'm building using hinges UPS had no clue about but yet was dropped off on my porch.

Little 25mm 14000rpm 6v HW esc fan as a motor fan. Hopefully it works sort of although associated never made a fan mount for these although they know the motor overheats in no time.

Oh yea @WickedFog , this battery still looks fine. Voltage balanced. IRs are balanced at 6.2 in both cells. 🤷

Still a work in progress. Roomate moved out, I now have the whole house to myself and his old room is getting turned into a work area/office.

I have the flu or the plague. Not quite sure what it is yet, so this has been a pretty long day for me moving things around. 😮‍💨

Any ideas welcome for décor. It’s a blank slate.
