whats the deal with the new soot filter

I know some people that are making absolutel rediculous amounts of power with the soot filter and are passing emissions tests. You shouldn't have a problem getting the power that you're looking for without removing it.

I also drive an HD duramax/allison combo and absolutely love it. Have had Ford, Chevy, or Dodge, all my life, and nothing compares to the duramax with the allison. My step-sister drives a powerstroke dually, and my 3/4 ton HD with that combo will pull circles around her truck. Just the other day when we had that Dozer we used her truck to pull it and it was struggling big time. When we took it back, we took the good ole duramax and my brother in law couldn't believe it, you could hardly tell it was back there.

but no smoke with the soot filter.
