i ordered a few tips for the printer, all of the prints i saved from bambu makerworld said to print in a .2 nozzle and the system comes with a .4 nozzle.
with all the stuff to print how do you guys decide which to print first lol, i can't wait

What the hell are you printing with a .2 nozzle? Show me. That's for tiny, detailed stuff. You can only print at .1mm layer height with a .2mm nozzle bro.

print a benchy first. maybe some test cubes and cylinders to verify consistency.

Printer won't be here till Monday. Been doing TinkerCAD tutorials. Currently working on small storage boxes that I tend to need frequently. Coming right along so far.

First print should be a first layer test. This is the test I use whenever I need to re-calibrate or test out different slicer settings/methods:

I'll give you the advice I wish I received when I got my first printer: In your slicer, set the first 2 layers to print slower than the rest. (some slicers default to that) I have mine set at 50% of the full print speed. Then, slice and print first layer tests until they are perfect. Your whole printing experience will be much more enjoyable with a consistently perfect first layer.
