Lol.... the rolls with cinnamon butter? OMG soooo good. We ate like 4 baskets! Lol Sucks they don't do the peanuts and throw shells on floor anymore.

Got the platter so I could get the sides. Prefer a pulled bbq sand with American cheese though, but it was good. In the process of months long dental work so can't have steak just yet 🤬 🥺 It was Killin me!!! But pulled bbq is the next best thing! 👍

Haven't been to TX Roadhouse in years. The one by us went down hill through the years. I used to crush the rolls with that cinnamon butter! My strategy was to fill up on those rolls and the big side salad that came with the meal. I would have a few bites of steak then pack the rest, plus the potatoes, to bring home for another meal.

Every year on my birthday we used to drive over an hour to the closest one, but recently they are popping up all over the metro area. Now it’s only a 10 min drive. It’s still kinda only for special occasions, but I’ll take any excuse I can find to go there.
 
With the long 4th of July weekend, this was a short work week. However, it didn't feel like it. With a loss of 60% of our day staff, last month, we are severely understaffed.
TGIF! Neither Sue nor I felt like cooking, so it was decided that tonight be Domino's night. Dessert was chocolate mint ice cream with lots of colored sprinkles.

I had a bowl of grape nuts, but tomorrow night we are going out for a nice steak dinner, before Mrs Doom goes on a liquid diet four four days. Her surgery is Tuesday so this weekend is her last real food for a bit.
