What should I get

The Hot shot 2's are great igniters I have two of them for over 2 years work the best out of everything I have had. You can't go wrong with Traxxas or HPI both great quality. I would prefer the Rustler but I am a Traxxas guy.

I am enjoying my rustler. The only thing I wish is that it had a little better steering capability.

I have no experience with anything else. Good luck! :)

Oh ok I see what should I check before attempting the break in of the engine

The first thing you should do is read your manual. You can avoid a lot of problems by doing that, and you get familiar with your truck. Then give it a good look over, making sure the screws and things look like they were installed correctly. Then set your hsn & lsn to factory base settings, which are flush. The manual will show in more detail. After this you should be ready to go. :)

How do u tell if it's flush?
Flush wit with?

With what *

If you run the engine at highest throttle for like 10 minutes will it ruin the engine?

Why would anyone hold an engine wide open for 10 min straight?

Lol I was just wondering
What u guys think I should get?
Ruslter
bullet st3.0
Or the mt2 g3.0

the breakin is the same level of hardness for all nitro engines more or less. Its not that hard but it can be boring and tedious. It is however critical that you do it completely and as accurately as you possibly can.

As for fuel, any 20-30% nitro fuel will work but its best to stick to the brands that are known to work well. VP, Byrons, Odonnell's, and I know I'm forgetting a few more that people can chime in with. I'm drawing a blank for some season. The main 2 I use are Byrons and Odonnells so those spring right to my mind but there are other good ones as well.

i would recommend the firestorm over the bullet as it has a reputation for being a better quality kit but its nearly the same as teh Rustler with only a fraction of the part support. i actually prefer HPI over Traxxas most of the time so its not like I'm a traxxas guy and just trying to push the traxxas brand but out of the 3 kits you listed here the rustler is the best one IMO.

But the ruslter is 2 wheel drive

---------- Post added at 4:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 4:25 PM ----------

It is discontinued lol

If you don't want 2 wheel drive then why are you considering the Rustler?

Well I was just saying that the bullet has 4 and the rustler has 2
Wouldn't that make the bullet better?

ok guys for the bullet and others u need a batter charger and starter witch is gonna equal 400 soim thinking about the tmaxx classic what u think?

You don't need a battery charger for the bullet unless you upgrade to a rechargeable rx pack. And the bullet has a pull starter.

i heard the control scuks with just regular batterys and i ment the glow plug
starter thing

lol
do u know if the t maxx comes with everything u need to start it?
can't find it anywhere

Yes it does. All you will need is AA batteries and nitro fuel. I think you will like a tmax more than a bullet. And maybe glue for the tires but I'm not sure about that.
