What percentage of charge would you store a NiHM battery?

This might sound like a dumb question, but here goes…
What level of charge is best to store a NiHM battery?

I Would discharge the battery first all the way.

It really doesn't matter, but when I started out a couple yeas ago I stored them fully discharged / dead because I didn't know what storage voltage was at the time.
Since Nimh's aren't like LiPos, you can store at any voltage but I prefer fully discharged. Come to think about it, I haven't own nimh packs for over 2 years now.

I've always left a decent amount of charge left in the batteries before putting them up. I left one discharged once and by the time I got around to using it again I had a hard time charging it and it didn't like to hold a charge anymore.
