Dumbo RC DDF-350 -- Can you memorize a custom curve as one of the presets?

I really like my new Dumbo RC DDF-350. I think it's a whole lot of bang for the buck.

Each menu section for exponential has three preset curves; one with positive expo, one with straight response (no curve) and one with negative expo. The two preset curves are fairly extreme. If I select one, then customize it so it's more to my liking, it goes back to the original preset values if I turn that feature off and then back on later, or if I switch to one of the other two curves. Is there a way to set my custom curve as one of the presets so it stays there as a choice?

No. I just double-checked. Once I turn the curve off, or select one of the other of the presets, my customized curve is lost. Frustrating!

Well, that is weird DumboRC went that route. It's such a basic adjustment feature on practically every radio (other than the lowest end offerings) that's out there. I'd be hinting to Frank, an update to the firmware is needed, and manual for the DDF-350 should be downloadable from DumboRC's website as well.

Frustrating, for sure. At least the curve will continue to stay active until I change it or select a different curve, even after turning the transmitter on and off. I guess I have to tweak it to where I'm happy with it and jot down the curve settings for future reference.

Another issue I just discovered today is that my Channel 10 button is acting as reverse throttle. I tried nulling it, putting the channel's throws at 0%, checking to be sure Ch10 wasn't connected to throttle dual-rate or a mix, etc. I can't get it turned off. I'd hate to have to reprogram all my settings, but I might try the trasnmitter's "reset to factory settings" option and start again.

I'm really wanting to love this radio but it apparently has some quirks.

Figured it out!

Somehow, in my bumbling around the menu, I had enabled "cruise control" and the default channel assignment and setting must have been Ch10 and -100% (or I somehow made them the settings, though I can't imagine how...).
