I've run almost every major brand .From traxxas to team Xray. All have Good - fair-bad-Ugly.. AE has given me more lemons that my lemon tree of 15 years....traxxas has given a few also.Xray not a 1.. was sponsored by Team C until there demise..MRC poor material and parts. Got a MRC sbv2 to test..white metal drive cups was its Achilles heal. made some from 360 Stainless then I could actually get some laps down. This question is all dependent of what you want outa your rc..
best all out basher is more than likely Traxxas pick a model-off-road
Arrma a close second

Racer-id say losi 2 and 4 wd-Xray # 1 for on-road

funny how options above say 15 votes yet 20 actual votes r listed

This is just like Ford vs Chevy vs Dodge, but then there is Ferarri sitting back in the corner, reading a Playboy and laughing at everyone 😉

One must assume my Tundra puts me in that category... ;)

My Subaru was assembled in Indiana. I traded my Tundra in on it. The Toyota Tundra is a pickup truck manufactured in the United States by the Japanese manufacturer Toyota since May 1999. Toyota has an engine plant on the other side of the county I live in.

Just 1?

My brother worked at SIA in Lafayette IN for a number of years. The Toyota plant is just south of me. Both SIA and Toyota have huge test tracks I would love to go play on 😉

Off topic, but did you guys know there is a town in Minnesota called Shakopee? 🤣😜😝😆🤪

Add Serpent, Xray, Hot Bodies, RC4WD, Schumacher, Atomik, OFNA, Capricorn RC, Corally, JQ, Yokomo, Team Magic, Team C, Sworkz, Speed Passion, and Proline, to the list too.

Does OFNA actually count in this? All they were was a distributor for Hoboa and Hong Nor. Redcat shouldn't count either as everything they sell is a rebrand of BSD Racing, HSP, Team Magic and a few other random Chinese companies.

To quote Kevin Talbot "the best rc car is whichever one puts the biggest smile on your face".

Honestly I dont even know where all that stands anymore. Used to be Id say yes OFNA belongs there because they distributed some good quality race level kits but now that OFNA has closed down and Hong Nor has been sold it maybe up to HoBoa to take that place as they still make their Hyper line of RCs. Guess we will see What HoBoa Racing USA will do/become.

Yup even the tried and true Hyper 7 is still around and iirc the VS is the Ultra LX3.

Hong Nor is still around, they released a pretty nice looking rc that is like the Kraton http://www.hongnor-racing.com/pdt_view_cars.asp?sn=1121 it even comes in nitro http://www.hongnor-racing.com/pdt_view_cars.asp?area=90&sn=1122 Rc Driver did a video on the electric version back in 2018 but I haven't watched it yet.

Theyre still around but the company was sold a few years back to a new owner so who knows where the company will go from there. Hopefully they will continue to make good products. Time will tell.

Got to read the whole thread.. before commenting on them. Because some times you repeat what others have said. Or your comments are only based on one post. When there's 30 posts before that one... just food for thought 👍👍
